This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Thanks, Craig!
Just one single color of paracord that is Multicam, which has about 5 shades/colors of thread in its own weave.

Sweet! I've been meaning to pick up some katalox myself for a while, but I just haven't pulled the trigger.

Efren, thanks! It's a quite heavy wood- I really like it for grips.

Mr. Robert, thank you very much :)

What exactly is a steer whip?

Thanks, Tyler!

Mr. Jesse a Steer Whip is my version and name for a not-fully-loaded Bull (a slightly trimmed version of a bull- a Steer ;) )

It has a fiberglass rod of variable length (to which can be added a little lead weight for balance to the handle/heel if wanted) and no transition knot. I start a shorter length plait (short herringbone, diamond, etc), which I believe is a little stronger and offers more support to the transition, a few inches past the transition and on up the handle to the heel. What you don't see is I do this on every belly as well. Because of that I chose to make it a feature and not put the transition knot on it- everything in the open and seen. I use a handcut wood grip to finish it.

Because the handle is lighter I can make it as nose heavy as I want, or heavier to the heel. The thong pattern remains the same.

Just Jesse is fine. I hate titles. The only time is ever use a title is when I'm at a reenactment. And then, I'm known as the Sergeant. My persona is a former sergeant in the British Royal Marines who served during the War of Spanish Succession.

Certainly eye-popping colours :o

Rachel, can you describe your single belly technique? I would have thought two bellies at least to get the taper right on an 8 footer.

That is very nice looking Rachel. Congrats on sending a whip Downunder. That's kind of a big deal.

Another beauty Rachel.
Not the colors I would have chosen but very eye catching and well done.
Roy's right. That is a big deal.
