This is the Gallery of Giovanni Celeste

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Very elegant whip Gio. Even though that I don't like the absence of the transition turk's head knot like this whip. I looks really classy.

Gorgeous whip Gio! I actually have become a fan of the lack of a transition knot, I think it's the uninterrupted taper that I find appealing :)

Hi Tyler, many thanks.
Re handle with no ring knot, i think in some case fit well.
In this case being a replica whip i had no choice :-) bui i think that fit well

Gio, I like the sleeker look of no transition knot.
Great job.

Hi All,
Finally I find the time to post some magnificent photos taken by Mario Desgronte concerns regarding the Whip Basics Review # 36 available in two versions:
Mobile: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCSlJw8JPb0
Pc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mL1-GRPnrI&t=403s
Dear Robby, as you probably know, I can't find the rigth words to express my gratitude for your beautiful and professional rewiev.
I like so much the text and the tone of the review you have been using whole professional and polite.
A big thanks from my side.
Giovanni

Here some specs of the whip:
In order to give a sense of continuity between the twisted spirals of handle and the pattern of the knot on the body of the whip, this time i've chose a unusual knot, it doesn't have a specific name.
This knot is tyed in: 11 lead and 10 bight.
For the same reason you'll see two little gaucho knot: one over the handle grip and the other knot over the thong.
The junction handle - thong was binded with artificial sinew in each layers.

- Twisted handle with iron spike
- Leather filler and leather core
- 4 plait kangaroo belly
- Leather bolster
- 4 plait kangaroo belly
- 12 plait kangaroo overlay
- Rounded leather fall
- Nylon cracker
- Two gaucho knots
- One unusual knot tyed in: 11 lead and 10 bight

Here he pics:

As I commented on the video: Very beautiful work, as was the video!

I'm a big fan of the "unusual" knot! Also the little gaucho on the start of the thong is very appealing.

The whole thing is very unique and inspiring, thank you for sharing!

And I should have said thank you to Mario for those stunning photos! They really capture the spirit of this whip - just as Robby's use of Pachelbel's Canon in D does on his video review! :)

Giovanni - the reviews, I produce, can always be only as good as the whip.
So if this is a great video - it must be a great whip, right?

Beautifull whip Giovanni.

Hope you dont mind me asking - do you cut the strands yourself or use precut? I have been trying resently to apply my aussie strander - with somewhat questionable result

Giovanni, what can I say.
With each whip you renew my admiration for your work.
That's a beautiful whip my friend, with your undeniably unique touch of style.

Thank you so much Robby, Morten and Fritz!!!
Re. Lace i have never used precut laces, i cut them using aussie strander.
Then paring and bevel the laces and then i strech it.
I do this for two reasons:
1 Testing the strain of the single strand
2 to compress better the inner layer of the thong.
