This is the Gallery of "Exowhips" - Tyler Blake

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Tyler - that is simply poetry in motion. That whip flows like water. I just commented on YouTube.
Allow me to post here, what I posted there...

"A fantastic whip, Tyler. You really manage to surprise me again and again. And what you said about Bernie is absolutely right. He was one of the great old masters. And one of the things which made him so great, was his generosity in which he helped other whip makers. In the way he told everybody about his ideas and methods.

A good whip maker is a good whip maker.
The one who helps the others become better, is great."

Robby, that's what we need, more 'great whip makers '.
Bernie sure was a great one no doubt.

I think that pretty much all the new whipmakers, let's say those of us that have picked it up in the last 15 years or so, were either directly or indirectly influenced by Bernie. What I mean is, there were people who looked at his whips and thought, "I'd like to do that!" Some of those people stuck with it and became highly skilled, and then other new makers looked at their whips and thought the same thing. So Bernie has left a ripple of influence on whip culture, like a pebble in a pond. I had already mostly figured out my methods when I discovered Bernie's site, but I don't doubt that the people who influenced me when I very first started were influenced by him. I think one of the biggest ways that Bernie influenced my whips was with his engraved collars. I remember when I saw those and thought, "I'd like to do that!" Turns out I don't engrave well, but it still ultimately led to the chemical etches I do sometimes.

I'm sorry if I ask something horrible now, but who is Bernie? He sounds like a memorable man

Indy, Bernie Wojcicki is an Australian whipmaker who passed away recently. You can look for his videos on Youtube by the channel name Bernie46.

Sure it's a very bad news. I didn't meet Mister Bernie, but even I recently discover "whip community", I saw him on youtube videos, and I thank him very much because his explanations were clearly for me an indispensable complement of the books I bought.

Tyler that looks so much better to me than laser burning.
Handcrafted excellence at it's finest.

Thank you Robert!

Thanks Ron! When Kiley and I used to do the shows a lot, I'd have my spread with all the stuff displayed and the most annoying thing to me was to have people, all day long, ask if I did it with a laser. We even put up a big sign saying it was done by hand and people still asked that. The other most annoying thing was watching the people who DID have laser etchings sell more pieces than us :P
