This is the Gallery of "Exowhips" - Tyler Blake

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Thanks Christophe! It is this design:

A tree, repeated 3 times and the roots and branches weave into the tree next to it.

I'm sorry Christophe, there seems to be a problem with photobucket. I just noticed that this and several of the pictures I put up in the build thread aren't showing, even though they did earlier. I will have to try again tomorrow :(

Tyler, try using imgur, photobucket always seems to have pictures go missing. I think they delete pictures after a certain time has passed too.

Well, it's back for now... I will keep an eye on that. I've used Photobucket forever and never had that problem before. We shall see....

Those look fantastic!
What is the O.D. and length of the knobs ?
Are you going to put some ferrules at the transition?

Thank you Philbert :)

Thanks Ron! These are 1.75" long by, let's see I think it was 1 1/8th or so wide. I'm not doing a ferrule, this customer likes a smooth taper from from knot to hitch so he always orders with no transition knot or anything there.

Wow Tyler that turned out great. What kind of oil finish did you decide to use?

Thanks Robert! :)
Thank you Roy, I used boiled Linseed oil because that was all they had when I went to go buy some. We have some tung oil in our garage, but it must be creeping up on 10 years old and I was afraid to try it on these after all of the work we both put into them :P I'm debating whether I want to put it on the red and black one- I like what it does to the grain, but I'm scared to death I'll get some on the thong. I think I'm just going to go for it, though, tonight.

Thanks Rachel! Thanks Roger!
