I believe that's called a pineapple knot?

Thanks Philbert, thanks Rachel! Philbert, I could be wrong but I don't think so. My understanding is that a pineapple knot is a specific style where you do an interweave through a given section. This is all under one, over one- it's enlarged from a 7 part 4 bight. There's a section on pineapple knots in my knot book but I haven't spent much time on it yet. Knots are frustrating enough for me that most of the time I find one or two that work and stick with that. Although, I have kind of a mantra about doing what's hard and inconvenient so that you'll grow in your craft, maybe I should just push myself on the knots more :)

Holy smokes Tyler, you did torture yourself with knots. They look amazing and happy the new lace is working for you. Can you tell any difference in performance between the wave lace and dacron?

Thanks again Philbert, and thanks Gio!

Thanks Roy! They feel the same when you crack them, what I mean is the flow is identical. Flexibility is identical, the wavelace feels a little softer and the black is darker but not as shiny. That's pretty much it so far...

Thanks you Craig, Grant, and Bobbi- I know, red and black is a great classic, isn't it?

Thanks Brandon! I had to have my wife make soothing ocean sounds while I worked on these knots to keep from going Quite Mad :)
