Jyri, all the trouble you are going through will be well worth it when you finally get it where you want it to be.
So far you are doing a really good job.

Few strand are popping out wich hopefully settle down when i roll it.
I might do some little fancy plait more and then go to short herrigbone, wich i have never tryed either.

Looking great! In order to keep the strands from 'popping out' you might try to lower the number of strands you are going over at times. Though rolling should smooth things out pretty well.

A fid! Should be fixed when you roll but you will need to move some around with a fid.

You already know this, but I'm going to say it:
Don't cut any strands off until you've rolled it and used a fid on it and rolled again.

Its really looking great!!!

Jyri, I really like how your patterns are turning out. Keep up the good work!
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

I got the popping strands pretty well placed with a slot underneath, i hope it goes there.

My finger tips hurts!
I have once again plaited all night long. I decided to keep rest of the plaiting fairly simple and practice some patterns i want to use in the future.
I am pretty happy with it for a first try in fancy plaiting.

Heartiest congratulations, Jyri. That is really good, tight work. I know just how much patience is needed to plait with 275 cord so this is doubly impressive.
