The knot in itself takes AGES to do normally, but is so rewarding. This whip is looking really good Rachel!! A very clean diamond plait~

I agree, Brandon, when the knots are done they are worth all the creative --- energy ---

Rachel yeah, my language can get very picturesque with lots of descriptive adjectives when tying knots too.

No secret that knots are my nemesis!
Knot happening, not at the rate I'd like but it's coming along.

They may be your nemesis, but you do win the battle nicely.

5×4 is not bad but finding the right knot for the right size...

Practice makes better!

Rachel, have you tried the mandrel / jig with pins and the "Grid Maker" method?
Just input what number of "bites and parts" and click on "Generate" and the solution comes out below.
It makes it tons easier.
Getting the foundation the right size is the booger bear.
I think there's a thread in the FAQ about it and all the Us and Os needed for any combination of bites and parts.

Ron no I haven't, though I just figured out my run list for the knot in working on was written from 6-5-4-3-2-1 pin order instead of the 1-2-3-4-5-6 pin order I'd been using. Tada!!!
Sometimes I'm not the brightest turnip that fell off the truck
Knot again.

Rachel, I wouldn't say that.
Look at what you have accomplished in school!!
Besides, you're a lot sweeter than a turnip.

Nice knotting Rachel. Maybe I'm perverse but I enjoy the knotwork part of whip making and look forward to it. :/
