I love this one Gio. The twisted tail and long handle makes this a very unique leather whip. The whole design screams fast and accurate.

Dear my Friends,
I'm very glad to show you some pics of this whip called "
The Bosal"
This is my personal gift to
Robert Amper for his special and important effort in the creation of The
Ring Of Trust and also for his contribution to the world of whips and whipmaking.
The Whip is a very long target model, I have chosen this name because the pattern of the overlay reminds me the design of the bosal.
Here the specs of the whip:
Length 10ft 16 plt overlay
INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION:
Handle: fiber glass 60cm
Core: Shotloed
Double bolster
8 plait belly (3/4 of the total lenght of the thong)
Bolster
OUTER CONSTRUCTION:
The overlay was braided in 16 plait plaited to the end in eigth seam braid ( just like the bosal).
In the half part of the handle you can see three different pattern:
Eight seam braid
Harringbone pattern
Diamond pattern
Heel knot: double gaucho knot of two passes
Ring knots: spanish ring knot.
Engraved brass
Here you can see three different pattern:
Eight seam braid, Harringbone pattern, Diamond pattern.

Man o man that is what I call special Gio. I can see Robby's grin from here. Congrats to you both. I hope he uses it instead of just drooling on it.

Oh, Robby, you lucky man! I am so envious! :P
Gio, that is simply spectacular! I'm certainly grinning from ear to ear! Every detail looks absolutely perfect.... However, I find it hard to imagine what the action is like with such a long handle. Robby will have to give us a full report!
What a great testimony to the craftsmanship of those in the Ring of Trust!

Elegant and beautifiul, as expected from you. Giovanni, you are a rockstar
I'm also looking forward to a report from Robby. It's difficult to imagine how a whip like this handles, that's a long handle and a long whip overall. I bet it's really accurate.

Gorgeous work Gio, the craftsmanship appears flawless. I too am interested to hear how a bullwhip handles with such a long handle.

.
What else can I say except: "Thank you so much for this beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship!"... It's an honor to receive something like that. I can't imagine how many hours you spent on that whip, and - to be honest - I don't think that I deserve it. I gladly accept this wonderful present as recognition of all the work these great whip makers here did over the years. All these great craftsmen - including you, Giovanni - are the real artists and the ones who keep the art of whip making alive. I have the easiest job of all... I just sit in front of a few cameras and talk about the work, others did. And I will report on how this (highly unusual!) whip works and feels in action!
Again - thank you so much for this. It's a great honor for me.

Beautiful work Giovanni. As a fellow whipmaker in kangaroo leather I can appreciate the time and effort that went into that whip. Absolutely stunning work. Such a smooth even taper. One mark of a "master" whipmaker is how even the width of strands are, especially at their narrowest. I can't find any flaws anywhere on that whip. If only I was half as good.
Robby is one lucky guy!

Very unique whip Gio....I like it. I would love to have a crack of it as I've never used such a long handled bullwhip.
Keep up the good work.
