Nice. I always love watching Robby use a whip. It's so lazy and relaxed and yet so effective!

So much to learn! ;)

OK, so now that the whip swap is concluded (for now!) I can post these. My whip went to Keanu, and fortunately he's a better photographer than I am!

And for the collars, Keanu had mentioned somewhere that his lineage is NAtive Hawaiian and Japanese, so on the big collar we have etched, aged brass with a stylized sea turtle/hibiscus:

It's not possible to get a picture of the whole design at once, so here's the original sketch I did:

And on the small collar , aged and etched brass with the Japanese character for Friendship:

As promised, I will also reveal the ancient secret for coloring white dacron...in the Members section :)

I wouldn't even crack that whip. It would be in a glass display case! Just beautiful.

and that is why Tyler is in the Master's gallery....Absolutely gorgeous work Tyler, the etching and aging on the brass is beautifully done. The color combination you came up with is quite stunning as well.

Dude, that's awesome! Must be one of the coolest looking whips I've ever seen.

You're setting new standards, Sir! This is pure art on the collars. Very, very well made! Simply beautiful. Every time I think I know what you can do, you surprise me! I'm with Roger - I can't say if I would crack that whip. I think there's a big chance that I would put it under a glass dome. And like Devin wrote... Yep - that's the reason why you are in the Masters Gallery.
And - as a side note - you're going to meet Devin in the Masters Gallery, soon.

i like so much the choice of leather fall and the waxed sinew cracker.
The sinew cracker makes a loud crack!!

The thought process and skill that goes into a masterpiece such as this just boggles my mind. That is truly awesome. Congrats to Keanu on a great score. Tyler, you are bad ass

Many thanks to Roger,Devin, and Pokkis! Roger, every whip deserves to get cracked once in awhile :) Thanks Robby! I'm just getting started with the collars- I have a nickel aging solution now too! That's great that Devin's getting a gallery, can't wait to see it!
Thanks Bobbi, Robert, Giovanni, Roy, and Einar for the kind words :)

Very nice whip Tyler: I would not put it under glass but would use it. Like you say all whips deserve to be cracked.

These just arrived in Russia the other day- When I first publicized my "Bela and Lokai" set I was clear that I wouldn't do another set exactly like that, but I get requests for "something similar"... so here's a set of 4 foot black and white all dacron Exowhips :)
