Thanks a lot Guys, re. Handle i have braided using the classic over two and under two sequence. The thong is four seam braid (over four under four)
The name of this kind of braid that i used for the handle is called: eigtht seam braid (the same pattern that i used to plait the total length of the Robby's whip ).

Great work Giovanni!
Congrats on your new whip, Robby.
As Others has said, i am curious to hear - and maybe see - Robby's thoughts on this long handle whip.
The nylon whip is amazing, orange and black match really well together

...here we are Guys!!!
this is a bullwhip that i made some weeks ago, here below some specs:
Bullwhip 5 1/2 ft
16 plt overlay in black roo
10" overbraid handle in saddle tan
Whem I made this whip for italian customer, I've just thinking to create and reminds me and develop a different style of braiding for the handle.
I've thinking to something that reminds me a strong personality to this handle, some kind of pattern that would reminds me a primitive and archaic celtic style....
And here it is.
I hope you like it
Kind Regards
Gio

Reminds me on an ancient sword handle wrapping. Very well made, Gio. Great work! Thank you for the pictures!

Nicely done Gio, I like that ancient look. Like Robby said it reminds one of an old sword handle.

I would go with C or D probably. Not a very definitive answer, but I'm really bad in picking between options :P
