Such beautiful work, as always. I'm a fan of the black and white too and one day I may make the "similar" request of you too. =)

Beautiful Tyler. I'm feeling more and more need to try dacron just from sing your work.

Nice work Tyler: I got some white Dacron in my last order and will have to find time to do some pattern work. Maybe something a little less chalanging than yours though!

Thanks Bobbi! I would be delighted to do something "similar!" :) Thanks Jonathan and Carl! Jonathan, I think you'd like it once you tried it, but the time difference is frustrating, especially at first. Carl, have you ever done pattern work in paracord? if you have, I think you'll like working in black and white...

Thanks Devin! I know, I was a little worried about that with the state of international relations right now!

Yes I have done some pattern work in paracord and will try some in Dacron.
I know what you talk of with the time difference. Working in Dacron just requires more time because there is more plaiting to accomplish the same size of whip. I have never kept track b4 but I just finished a 1000' roll of dacron and I made 4 hunt thongs 4.5' long and they are just .540" in diameter at the widest spot.
That said I still like Dacron better than paracord.

Tyler,

Such beautiful whips and your plaiting is out of this world. I absolutely love the design of your whips as well.

Really nice work Tyler you really are revolutionizing the synthetic whip, I think many people will be migrating to dacron. I know dacron is only readily available in black and white but honestly it's my favorite color combo lol!

The whip you made Keanu is perfect.

Have to agree with you there Derek. I've only managed to get hold of one order of Dacron since I started plaiting and I did find it nicer to work with. Shame my supplier doesn't seem to stock it any more.

Thanks Derek! I think there will always be room in the market for both dacron and nylon, in slightly different niches. Thanks Roger! I'm sorry to hear you have a hard time getting it- you can order it from me if you like but of course the shipping costs could be prohibitive. :(

Here is one that went to Sweden a while back. The customer wanted a Hello Kitty themed whip- I can honestly that I never, ever, ever, ever, expected that :P

Image

It's a 32" long all white dacron bullwhip (exo actually, the carapace is white also) with pink knot and fall. This one has two internal bellies loaded with lead to help counter the short weight.

Very unusual theming for a whip. Didn't this go to the girlfriend of the guy who ordered the super short pair?
Very nice work Tyler, I personally find it hard to develop a taper in such a short length.

I can't let my daughters see this or I will be ordering a pair. They are hello kitty freaks. Well done Tyler

You need sunglasses on to look at it!
How does it crack?
I guess I am too old to know about "hello kitty"

Helloooo Kitty!!! Nice whip, Tyler!

I'm always fascinated by the reasons people give for their colors. I once did a whip the was purple and green with black knots because the Incredible Hulk is green with purple pants and black hair....

What about some complete new whip lines...?

Sailormoon
The Avengers
Batman
Superman

Okay. Perhaps better not ;)

Robby

p.s.
Same as Roy above. I have to make sure that Andrea (the girl which is on most WB reviews with me on cam) never sees that whip. She is not interested in whips, but in Hello Kitty and literally everything which is in white and pink.
I have a screwdriver. I am Legend...
