Thanks Ross. I was thinking the braid might be more of a transition in flexibility, the tradeoff being a slight bit of bulk. Will try the 4 point some day.

Thank you guys, this time I was very grateful that it was just a budget whip ordered otherwise I might actually have collapsed due to lack of sleep trying to get everything done! :Lol:

Whip #34 my first attempt at a performance hybrid whip with a little personal twist :) this has a 16" bamboo handle & a 5ft thong with a twisted taper. 18" fall and 6" cracker.
It cracks easily and flows out nicely :)

Whip #35 this is a 12 plait 6ft budget Bullwhip in chocolate brown with a wooden concho featuring my logo. This will now be standard in all my whips unless they have the custom 'initial' concho

Whip #36 this is an 8ft 16 plait custom made Bullwhip in the colours of the South African flag with a silver ferrule and a 'G' concho.
This is the prize I submitted for the 101 challenge and is now on its way to a very deserving winner :)

Whip #37 this is a 7ft Bullwhip I made last month as another experiment, it started out bright orange but using wood dye before waxing and then boot polish after I have come very close to that elusive 'Leather look' that the Indiana Jones cosplayers want :) it's not perfect but I now know where to tweek the process to perfect it :)

Whip #38 this is an 8ft 16 plait bullwhip in red & black with a two colour twisted fall, a diamond plait handle & a T in the heel know.
This is a customer order and now on its was to Germany:)

Ross, that Indy whip really looks like leather, until one examines it very closely. Well Done!

I very much like the two-colour fall. Very stylish! :)
