Thanks so much, Scott!
Ethan, they shift more to the front or back but they are like the white lines on a two lane road:
Just make your own yellow line down the middle based on where the "white lines" or side seams are. Definitely they shift toward you when you drop from 12 to 10. Also we are looking at several feet not just a few inches at a time to find that center. The median....

I fully agree about the Gaucho pattern! Gio posted a sequence for plaiting here on WB for the Gaucho pattern, so I say thank you, Gio!
I fully believe helping each other learn is the best way.
That's so true, Rachel
I'll try that today. I started plaiting the overlay of a yellow- black 6ft whip some days ago.
So there is a shift at the beginning, but hopefully not any more after following your advice.
That would look funny: At the beginning - shifted like hell and then not any more
I'm curious.

Nadine, I have no doubt you can do it! I have pictures of a set of matched neon yellow and black cow whips here.... That whip will be beautiful!
Jyri, Thank you!

That has to be rather hectic, trying to keep all that straight. Both the seams and the scale matching.

I am very jealous of the so-to-be owner. Whoever that is... I still haven't figured that out.

Thank you, Ethan! I learned so much from this build. I believe it really gave me the opportunity to push forward and learn some more articulate skills, if that makes sense.
One thing at a time, and all things are possible.

Exactly!
The piece of wood the handles are made from was 1.5×1.5"×36". The Stock whip handle is 18", the Amper Style is 14", and the grip for the Steer is between 3-4". More than once I almost had a heart attach

Let's see how that Steer grip came about:
All together!
Now, how about some serving on those English Eyes.
Time to epoxy!
