This looks super.
I think it's one of your best works.
Way to go Jessie.

How does it crack?

Thank you everyone. I want to attempt another, but I have an order to fulfill first. Until then, this will go to the UK for the whip cracking championships...thing.

Finally got the build figured out for these. I struggled with the "ungutted paracord" core that these are usually made with. I have a 425 tapered twisted core in mine with a very light weight going halfway down instead. I also bound my core and belly making them springy and less erratic and easy to crack. Look familiar? This customer wanted these two whips to look exactly like the practical bull I made a few months ago. My guess is this customer likes vanilla ice cream, the color beige, and watches a lot of public television.

Great job on these.
I love the color combination.

Was the English eye just doubled back and then bound, or inserted into itself and then bound?

I also love your logo in the heel cabochon.

Okay... Why vanilla and why public tv? Beige is not so hard to think of. And a lot of people like ice cream. But why so specific on vanilla and public television...? Please - explain :)

And - good work, Jessie!

Robby and Robert. It means she thinks the guy is rather unimaginative.

Although, I like vanilla ice cream and watch PBS and listen to NPR a lot, myself.

I'm not terribly fond of vanilla ice cream or public tv, but I do like those whips.

Ron, The english eye is doubled back, hand sewn and bound with waxed Dacron.

Robby and Robert, the guy is boring, unimaginative, safe. He now has 3 whips from me and they are all exactly the same. No rocky road with sprinkles and butterscotch sauce, no action movies, no conspiracy theories, no rock and roll. Snoresville, man.

I now have an order for a Kraken whip. Let's see if I can pull it off.
