This whip is all ready so much better than my first one and it's all due to
the information and kind words of experience that I have received right here at Whip Basics.
There is no other place like it. I am so proud to be a member.

Brandon, it doesn't harm the whip, but I am going to glue some smooth plywood to the area that contacts the whip and either paint or clear coat the rest because the granular part of the block kind of comes off while you are rolling it.
It's like a coarse powder that I wipe off when I am finished.

Today I am measuring and cutting the strands for the 16 plait overlay.
I am still not sure about any fancy plaiting with almost 40' for the longest strands makes it look very intimidating.
Is there a very simple pattern any of you could suggest ?
