Mr Partin, The amount whips that you've made before Chirstmas is very, very impressive - all of them are very stylish and feature unique details like the individual conchos - WOW !!!

I also love the Gator Tail whip that you've made: it's amazing how well it performs and that it can be also used for slow practice. Slow practice and short whips are ususaly contrasts but you totaly nailed it (on your first sub 6 footer !!!) - very well done Sir !!!

Both you and your daughter did a great job on the performance videos - my compliments to both of you !!!

All the best
Ben

Found it right now... And all I can say is "Good job, Sir!". The handle looks great - as always... - and the overall behavior is great, too. I mean - you did the rolling test on both sides and it went just through. Nice and straight. That little thing just screams "Target & Performance" to me. Serious - you should consider to add this style to your homepage. As target whip for performers on stage! You have my vote, Roy. And - if I may say that - your cracking is way more relaxed, now.

And tell Nola to follow through. Her technique is not perfect, but she's on the right way. A bit less power on the way down and don't stop at six - just follow through and she's good to go :)

Thank you for the pictures and the videos! You know that your daughter looks way more cute than you do, right :D

Thank you so much Ben and Robby. I would love to some day offer this whip. I actually used it this morning in the corrals to move some bulls. It worked perfectly for that close quarters type of work. I truly appreciate your opinions. Robby your right, Nola is much more cute on and off camera.

I'm pretty late in saying this, Roy, but I absolutely love that rust and silver thong :). Your work is just amazing.

Nice! Your plaiting is so on point like always. Really clean looking thong and a nice design.
Nice videos too, love 'em!

Howdy friends. I must apologize for whips taking a back seat to the rest of my life for a while. Here is my latest work ordered by my cousin Brandy at 925 Ranch Customs as a gift for her son. She made the medallion with his cattle brand. It's 10 feet in rust

Nice!

You know how there are whips that you only have to see in a photo to say "I totally know who made that"? This is definitely one of those.

Gorgeous Roy! I would love to crack one of your heavy long whips one day :)

Roy, I love this whip. Rust is an awesome color. Somehow, you always pick a handle and thong color that offset each other very well

I wrote that yesterday at night in Rachel's thread:

Harmonic in its look and appearance. No gimmicks. Just plain art. It's the same thing as with Roy's whips. Straight, 100% well made. Effective yet elegant.

Well, like I said. Good job, Roy. Extremely good work, Sir.

Agree, Robby. Some whips are beautiful because of the color combinations. Others, like Roy's, are beautiful because a single color allows you to see the intricacies of the weave and taper.

Thank you folks very much. I'm fond of the simple look. There is also the fact that 99% of the whips I make are tools that will be covered in dirt, mud and crap so being fancy wouldn't last long.

Roy, that's true enough.
