That's a very, very beautiful whip Mr. Partin !!!
I love the look of the rust color after it has been waxed and the medallion of this whip is not just very stylish but also very functional (just like livestock branding this medallion will make it very easy to identify the owner).
I'm sure that the son of your cousin will love this whip !!!

All the best
Ben

Three whips in white. One is 8' and 12 plait with Goncalo handle. One is 10' and 14 plait with Jatoba handle. Last is 12' and 14 plait with Goncalo handle. This is probably the last time they will be white

White is not the most practical color for a whip, but it looks very, very good :)
I may be wrong, but every whip you create seems to be a little bit finer, more detailled and better.

Thank you for sharing those pictures with us!

Yep Roy, they look so clean. You're right. It won't be long before they aren't .
Did your customer give a reason for choosing white?

Those look soooo gorgeous! I really like white whips, but indeed they seem more practical as a display piece.
I have no doubt they will crack like a beauty, but because of the white.
Someday I'll make a white whip too, I really love tjat color for a whip.

I really appreciate that Robby. If they are getting better then I'm doing my job correctly
Ron, if you accidentally drop your whip from your horse then it's much easier to locate in the grass if it's white. Earth tones blend in easily

Thank you Sven. White whips in motion are very eye appealing to me

Roy, those three are terrific! (But I would never want a white whip for myself - and I'm not likely to drop it from a horse! I think that last time I was on a horse I was aged 9. :) )

Roy, Robby is right, each whip is just better than the last! Excellent top work right there!
Really, beautiful clean work.

Roy, I do know that - and sometimes dream. But I fear that anything to do with horses here is catastrophically expensive! :(

Robby's not wrong :) they look great in pure white Roy, and after they get dirty they'll have the dignity of a well-used tool.

Blimy they are pretty, I'm sure it was a pain keeping them so clean during making them. I wonder if there is any tricks to keeping the whiteness of them showing, or if it's once in a life time white?

Beautiful as ever Roy, your handles are immaculate.

Thank you all my whip friends.
Charlie, these 3 will be at the mercy of Mother Nature's elements, so it will be impossible to keep them glowing. Their new owners won't care either. They will slowly change to a light grey color

This is the Bull Gator I was working on. It's 7' and 14 plait in hunter green and chocolate brown. It's wood handle is shaped like a miniature cow whip handle but it also has a spring steel rod out to the transition. It will be raffled off in a cowboy church fundraiser

Extra primo good.
Those colors really go together with each other and the handle.

Those colors match the wood very well. I very much like the combination. It looks really good overall. A testament to why you're in this part of the forum, Roy.
