I like the odd color signature strand in the belt.
I'm not sure if this is Gio's intention with the belt, but a little Native American art history: Often times, in Native American bead work, there is one odd colored bead scattered within the piece. This is to remind the artist that only the creator himself is capable of perfection. Also, turquoise is a symbol protection and healing. Some think it fell from the sky, and others think the creator threw leftover turquoise in the air to create the sky.

Jessie, I believe that's his trade mark touch.

Many thanks guys.
Jessie, thanks l you for the lesson about the Native American.
Ron is right OS my trademark because the Italian meaning of my Surname 'Celeste' is just the color of the sky.
I like so much the Native concept of symbol protection and healing.

Gio, absolutely beautiful work! I love the belt!
That whip is so sleek and elegant... And of course, as always, I love the heel knot! You already know this, though
The fall hitch is perfect, every strand tapered exactly the same at the point... With multicolored strands, every detail stands out even more. It shows your attention to every point of your work. Well done, my friend, well done!
Ron you are correct, Celeste translates as that particular shade of sky blue, if I remember correctly. That fits so well with what Jess said about the turquoise falling from the sky....

Gio - you are an artist. I will not show this belt to Gitte. That will be too expensive - you know her and her passion for beautyfull things. I love that the little blue square is very visible - especially when We know the meaning of it.

Hello Guys, really thanks again for your kind feedback.
I'm still sorry for have been away from you and the forum ...
After my rock concers, these two works i posted were very challenging and kept me away from any social app.
Now reading all your kind comments I think that it was worth it :-)
Hello Flamming according to my women's experience I knew how to keep women away from bags and shoes and clothes but not from belts :-)
It's just true, in life you never end up learning !!! :-)

Wonderful again, Gio. A great matched pair and looking at that whip, I bet it just rolls out and cracks so sharply!

That's an incredibly beautiful set Mr. Celeste!
Both the snakewhip and the belt look superb - the "snake fall hitch" caught my eye in particular and I love the fact the the red belt loop is also plaited - thank you very much for sharing!
All the best
Ben
