Robby mentions in the review that the whip is more on the heavy side, but it doesn't look like it really. True, it's not an especially quick one at all, but it seems to change direction pretty nimbly. It sure would be fun to try.

Yep. It's not lightweighted. But it's not heavy, too. For me it has the perfect balance between a light, fast whip and a heavy roller. You can crack a bit faster - as you can see in the vid, but it feels best when you crack it in a more "moderate" way.

And on Robert... Tyler, I think the guy's cool. I'm pretty sure you can sell to him. And if there's trouble with the cops afterwards - I know where he's living...

You know, Ron...the whole "framing the whip" idea has been on my mind for a while too. Let me ask the experts, is it okay to roll up your whip and store it hanging like that? I mean. I read somewhere that its better to let them hang straight (especially leather ones). But if they can be coiled...I have an idea for something pretty to display them as well as store them up out of the way...

Jessie, it's fine to hang them up coiled, the only thing is you just don't want to coil them too tightly whether they're hanging, or in a bag, or whatever. The coil should always be "relaxed". If you have to force the coil to fit in a box, you need a bigger box. I have 4 roohide whips now, and they're hanging on hooks made by a blacksmith that we watched at a forging demonstration in Texas.

The review about the Night Sky is excellent, great job Robby.
When I had the Night Sky here at my home to take the photos for the review, I could do some test cracks and it is a dream to crack this whip you don't need much power and the Night Sky looks very, very elegant.
The Night Sky is an excellent work of art.
