Awesome work, Jessie!
I realy like the handle design!
The wrapping is very precice and I love the way it looks form the different perspectives: on the second picture, the wrapping reminds me of a short herringbone pattern and on the other pictures it looks more like a "endless knot"- love it!
All the best
Ben

I think so. To be honest, it's way too cold to crack it outside (I made a blog post about my discoveries with the cold and Whips) and my house is too little for indoor cracking with a 3 footer. I'm going to see if the school would let me use the gym at night. Maybe.

This whip was for a fella who breeds and shows rare pigeons. At first he had no interest in colors, but after I asked him what his interests are as inspiration for colors, he really got into it. The customers really seem to like any personal touches you are willing to do for them, even on the standard whips I do my best to make them personal if I can. Anyway, his prized birds are rust and silver gray. To add interest I textured the exposed bit on the handle. It's really cold this morning, so i didn't spend a lot of time on the pictures. This is what we have:

Beautiful work, Jessie!
I also like how the rust colors turned out after the waxing and the look of the exposed portion fit's perfectly into the overall design!
The silver grey handle wrapping doesn't have any "color differences" after the waxing which adds to the harmonic look of the overall design!
All the best
