This is the Gallery of "Wolf Creek Whips" - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Rachel, that thong is incredibly stylish. I love it! (But I think a dark-coloured handle would suit it better. Just my personal taste....)

Lovely as usual but a long handle for a short(er) whip. Must be a pretty quick mover.

Mr. Robert, thank you! I agree on the darker wood, this will match well after it has some time and use on it.

Thanks, Roger, yessir it's fairly quick- both my boys prefer a 5', it seems to fit them well. A 14.5" handle is a very common length in our area. (Mississippi, Louisiana)

Thanks Roy, I appreciate it.

Miss Rachel that plaiting looks great. I like the handle length as well. It looks like it is perfect size for the whip. Plenty of leverage to get they thong moving. I love it.

Build in progress-
This will be a 6' Steer Whip with a 12" fiberglass rod handle.
Here's the second belly, time to bind and plait a 16 plait overlay with a Twisted English Eye.

It looks super Rachel.
I forget, what's the difference between your bull whips and a steer whip?
Will we get to see the binding too?

That looks spectacular. I thought that was the overlay without the heel and then I read that it is the second belly. So you do the tapered twist even on the bellies?
