Rachel, I am so happy for you! I feel lucky to have been party to your whip-making development, to see how quickly you progressed and how determined you always are to get things as right as possible. I hope this does springboard you into commercial work.

Roger I appreciate it :)

And here's a bit more for you to see :) The sound quality is terrible - you have to pump up the volume to understand everything. But I hope it will help and explain.

Sigh, I commented on the video instead of here. Go there for my commentary. I'm too lazy to repeat. :/

Robby, very informative.
Thanks for making it. The sound level is fine for me.
I have never thrown a cow whip but the performance improvement is definite .

And yes, I am practicing not following the whip with my head. If I were in your location I most
definitely would watch out for the precious flora.

Robby this is awesome!
First, I see you got your ears lowered! (Haircut :) )
Snow- wow I hope you got a big cup of tea after that!

You can no longer say you are not a whip maker, either! :D
I really enjoy seeing the difference, and wow I can learn a lot from this!
That was one thing I really have had in the back of my mind, how accurate is the whip and what can I do to make it more accurate.
This REALLY helps! Wow, so cool!

Now, I may be speaking only for myself, but you do know this is a really great amount of information for us to learn from, right? I really appreciate this so much. So much!
Wow.
Thank you, Robby!

Rachel, you might offer the 'traditional' style along with the 'modified' style.
Or the options that Jessie is working on with the cup might also be an option. With her method the
thong would be more secure in the cup but also removable to be changed out.
Definitely something to research and develop .

Ron it is a good thing. Those that want one for a working tool will only want the loose kind, also in many cases the thong will outlast the handle.
The fixed version, essentially a woody bullwhip, would definitely open up a wider range of market.
I want to make a fixed one too, just for cracking.
I can't wait to see what Jessie comes up with!

Robby, Rachel is absolutely right: this is awesome. (I very rarely use that over-worked word, but here it's appropriate!) This video, taken together with the earlier one, is extremely informative.... Thanks so much for taking the time to do this!

It is awesome! I understand the utility of being able to change it, but I love the fixed handle.

Interesting stuff. I knew there's a difference between a cow whip and a woody bullwhip in this regard, but it's more than I imagined. And this also shows that if you can make a good cow whip, you can also make a good bullwhip.

Now I totally want a woody from Rachel. Umm... That came out wrong, but you know what I mean :P

Absolutely Robby we enjoy everything you put out. Simple, crude and personal? Great! Fancy, edited and professional? Always excited to have new stuff from you!

Very informative yes and a brave modification. What a strong crack. Nice haircut also ;D

Pokkis you should still come and try out my R. McCollough original some time.

Robby, I love this video and the whip performed great, but Claudia is going to whoop you for beating up on her plants.

May the snow provide enough cushion for Miss Claudia's flowers :)
Robby, whipmaker!
At least, Glue Master!

Pokkis y'all better bring us back a few pictures or some footage from that trip!

Ah, yes- Claudia's flowers... perhaps you could tell her you were trimming them down for the winter Robby? ;)

Tell her it's sonic inductive impact therapy. The sound and the physical forces help the plants' natural fibers to strengthen, thereby developing better resistance to harsh weather conditions.
