I'm a big blue lover also. Rachel, this looks super. I think you should pack that lathe up and bring it south. It would sure save you some time.

Thank you, Craig!
Jessie I really like your Black and red whip, the handle especially. It fits a small handed person really well!

Thanks, Grant!
Roy, I'm sorry, I sure did miss replying to your post. I thank you, Sir! I hope to save some for my own lathe next year, perhaps! I've been making a few (ok, several...) handles while I had the opportunity. Less than 1/3 the time, now.... Goodness.

Rachel, you really will be happier with a lathe. I own both a wood lathe and a machinist's lathe, and both have surpassed my expectations. There are some things you simply cannot do by hand.
I encourage you to get the best tool you can buy, then learn to use it to its full potential. With what I've already seen you produce, there is no possible scenario in which a lathe will not benefit you.
Go for it, girl. Do your worst.

Beautiful whip as always, I really like the colors.
Was the handle machined this time?

Thank you, David, I am going to continue to save for a decent lathe. I would definitely like to have a bit of adjustability. I'm definitely wanting one now!!!
Thank you, Mario, I am quite fond of blue myself
Erik, thank you too! Yes the handle was machined this time. I don't own that equipment, but got to play with it anyway

Rachel, very nice taper and that orange just pops.
The color coordinated cracker is a nice touch too. I don't know if that was planned but
it works.

Nice work Rachel,
you're getting whips out there at quite a pace, and they look really good.

Thank you Fritz

. I appreciate that a lot as I know you are a quality builder yourself and own some fantastic whips, too!
Thanks Ron, the cracker is made from Dyneema material I got from Roy through Whip Nation and I'm VERY happy with the results of that cracker.

I like gray and...combinations. I think people forget that gray is just as versatile as black...

And grey shows fewer blemishes....
