This is the Gallery of "Exowhips" - Tyler Blake

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

They're a pretty pair Tyler, well done. If they wax anything like Dacron or Nylon they'll turn out fine. Just the usual spiel about being between 220 and 250 F for the bath and letting it soak till the bubbles are gone. Since the cord gets up to temperature when left in a bath for that long, you'll find that the thong comes out dry as a dessert and soaks up the excess so the surface is almost "dry".

Look forward to seeing more colors of the wave lace!

Tyler, your continuing development is very inspiring. A pair of beauties: I, too, can hardly wait to see them waxed!

Thanks Devin! I was going to read up on waxing temps and procedures, you summed it up nicely! I take it from your wording that you did try waxing some dacron whips?

I will post some closeups after waxing Fritz- Thanks!

Rachel, one was goncalo and the other was something else, brown.... uh, it used to be a tree...the name escapes me right now.

Thanks Robert!

Here is a 10 foot exowhip in white, black, and navy blue:

Image

It's the first 10 foot Exo, so that was kind of fun but I'm always glad to see the end of a 10 footer!

Thanks Ron- and here we are:

Image

I did something different this time, evidently I love to torture myself, I thought a longer knot might be in order so I went with a 17 by 14 single pass:

Image

I think this may be the last time I consent to do knots in wavelace... it's SOOO time consuming and when I get done with them I don't want to see another turk's head for at least a week. WHile I was working on these I was thinking, "I should switch to doing woodies and cow whips, I'd never have to do this again!"
