Daughters whip

Although this is no masterpiece I still had to show it off. My youngest daughter just turned 5 and she informed me that she is now big enough to use her own whip. She said "Daddy don't make me a baby whip, I want a big girl whip". So, my customer orders were put on hold for a couple nights while I built this hot pink 6ft cow whip. It has a twisted core, 8 plait belly and 12 plait overlay. The handle is Purple Heart. I shaped it similar to a miniature baseball bat to fit her tiny hand. I can't wait to see her face when she gets home from school.

Roy, you are officially the coolest dad ever. And some day some guys will have their work cut out for them with your girls :)

I agree with Bobbi - let's see her delight! What a great present!!!

And I agree with Pokkis, too - on both counts!

I had a bad weekend and today didn't start any better, but seeing this cheered me up plenty. She looks so excited and happy, I can imagine her bouncing up and down and stopping only for the time you snapped the photo :)

This is great! I made a whip for my (now) five year old a while ago and he just loved it (flaws and all). One of the greatest things about having kids is seeing genuine excitement in life. She definitely looks excited and has good reason to be. Beautiful whip and, as everyone else has stated, very heartwarming picture.

Thank y'all for the kind words. Hopefully the weather clears up soon so we can get in the yard and let the pink princess swing away

Appreciate that Guy, I love whips but those girls are my biggest passion.
