ANd, we might as well start off with an Exowhip! This was the first time I've used these colors together- black, silver grey and charcoal grey:

Tyler, those colours are terrific! And you're quite right to start off with an Exowhip - which, I believe, is your own invention!

Tyler , great looking as usual. You never disappoint brother.
I really like the french grape vine. It was your input that helped me put it on mine.
Now I am kind of partial to them.
Does the unusual ending of the silver part south of the grape vine at the transition affect the whip in any way in performance or roll out?

Thanks Robert!
Thanks Ron! I'm glad the tutorial helped you with the GV- I've always liked them too

The end of the carapace does not affect the roll out- On a brand new whip, especially a long one like an 8 footer, you might feel it slightly but as it breaks in it becomes unnoticeable.
Thanks Rachel! Only the black is wavelace, the greys are paracord.
Thanks Gio!

Tyler...you kill me. Ever single time you present something new, I am sure that there can't be anything new. And - bang! - there you go and you have something new. That color combination is - great! Thank you for that!

I really like the Exowhip.
Makes for a transition area that looks great and is also very functional.
Thanks for sharing Tyler, beautiful work, ...

Thanks Gentlemen! I can't take credit for the color choice, that was the customer. I do have plans for something new though, when I get more caught up- an exowhip with a coyote tan thong, and chocolate brown and the acid brown I got from Roy on the carapace- I've had that in my head for a little while now.

That's disturbingly cool!
Just one thing... The tip of the fall has a loop too? An English eye for the cracker?

Yup! I believe it was Roy that originated that idea. I do this on the loaded falls (they have a thin bead chain) and then sew it closed on a machine to negate the possibility of the beads ever coming out the end. That, and it makes it quite impossible for crackers to come off.

I love that feature. Everyone knows what pain it can be to change a fall, and that's why the English eye is there to begin with. But changing the cracker is not much fun either. I do mine from artificial sinew -- which is waxed Nylon or PET -- and it's a total pain in the ass to change especially when cracking in cold winter weather. Something like this could really spare me a lot of suffering in the right circumstances.
