Hi Guys,
this is another stockwhip
This baby is: 5ft long plaited in 8plait with the handle plaited in 12 plait.
This StockWhip is very similar to the previously whip posted (6ft) but there are some small differences on the handle section.
The first difference is the pattern on the grip. It’t always plaited in 12 plait but in different pattern under 2 over 2 instead of under 3 over 3.
The second difference is the knot plaited in gaucho style
I hope you like it
All the best
gio

Hey Gio,

congrats on that stockwhip! I really like the heel knot. Looks very handy :) And the other thing... It looks like the thong gets its max. Diameter a few inches after the knot, which is great for the balance. Good work!

Hi Guys!!!!
I apologize for my absence from this forum but I've been very busy in building a 10ft tod. asap the pics !!!! on the indysection.
Thanks a lot for your feedback like always very kind !!!
This whip was built not for a collector, but for a true Italian Stockman !!!!!
He has already called several times to thank me and tell me that the whip works very well.
He uses that whip to control the cattle. I know that the whip has seen the wind, rain and manure !!!!!
By the way the price of this whip is € 200 + shipping
Hi Lorenz!!!
welcome on Whip Basic!!!!
this whip was made in kangaroo hide.
if you want to learn the construction of a whip in the Australian style, I suggest you start with cowhide which is cheaper than the kangaroo.
Furthermore, the Italian cow leather tanning is among the best in theworld.
please show us your creations? is always interesting to see new styles of construction
