This is the Gallery of "Gator Whips" - Roy Partin

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Excellent Roy.
Nice way to whip up a little Christmas cheer.

Nice work Roy.

Always drool over the pictures of your whips.
Although that might just be 5 month old Murray spreading his teething slobber everywhere.

Thank you all! i couldn't stand my idle hands, so started another last night.
Donovan, I sure do miss that drooling baby stage. They are so snugly then and they don't talk back and argue like these older kids.

Face the facts, Roy. You are a great whip maker. And you are an inspiration for other whip makers.
You set standards. And that's good. Because your standards are very high.

And now you should really take a break!

Robby,
Thank you my dear friend. I'm afraid it's too late. A new idea plagued me all day yesterday, so I was up late and up early planning and plaiting.

Fellas, it's nothing too special. The other day when it was miserable cold outside, I thought about how cool it would be to have a mini whip to practice indoors. Something short enough that wouldn't get me in trouble with the Mrs., but fully functional. I had an idea that I'm testing out. If it works then I will post about it

All of them are so nice! I love the kissing whip the most but I love how staged the others in Christmas decorations. :)

This is my newest creation called the "Gator Tail"
The thong is 4' 12 plait with an 8 plait belly and lots of tight binding. The handle is 10" Goncalo.
I'm fairly confident that I can keep the next one's total length under 4 feet. It can be cracked slow or fast and is accurate. This was suppose to be my indoors whip, but it's just as fun outdoors

Here is the video of cracking it

That's super Roy!

Nola is such a cutie. She cracks well for her age.

Peanut!!! In shorts and shirtsleeves too. Brrr. I have tried many times to teach little Emma to crack, but she just isn't interested, then she saw Nola and said, "Hey! I wanna crack too!" I need more Nola videos.

Cute little whip. I kind of have a fondness for the little whips.
