The "Making of" Gallery - Rachel McCollough

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Beautiful Rachel, thanks for posting. It’s very helpful for me to see how you bound where it transitions from plait to twist. I was always curious how the veterans dealt with that hinge.

Oh, I do like the look of that black hide... Well done, as always, ma'am!
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

I knew this was going to be a spectacular piece of wood.
I like the way you sort of counter sunk the cord hole.
Such attention to detail. This surely won't abrade the cord.

Ron, thanks, Nature sure have a showing in the grain! I haven’t had any problems with cord abrasion, I hope they hold well.

Mr. Robert, thank you!

For the pups, though I wish I had more time for better finishing and a fancier plait. It is all I could do with what all is going on right now, but those pups deserve all the help we can give them.
