The "Making of" Gallery - Jessie Edwards

This new Gallery replaces the former "Masters Gallery", which will work from now on as pure archive. Here you will find not only the work and art from folks who sell whips, but also from folks, who create their whips out of pure passion. And we have an additional gallery. It is called "The Gallery - Making of".

Love it!
I'll give it a try, Dad, but it's going to be really hard...kind of like trying to saw something in half using a banana.

My first lunge whip has an overlay! The handle and fall will be pink. :). I hope this is right.

Okay, it's all done. I will leave it unwaxed. A 4 foot fiberglass handle, with 425 paracord overlay, twisted taper core, in baby pink and gray as per customer's order.

Until then, my first Lunge whip.

Jessie, this looks very like those carriage whips we saw in the museum at Schloss Nymphenburg- apart from the colour! Well done! :)

From someone who doesn't like pink , this looks cool.
It appears that you have the transition just right.
How does it crack?
Great job.

Shot hit the submit button too soon. I was going to ask if the double diamond on the handle was plaited or is it a long TH?

It doesn’t crack. It kind of whooshes, but they aren’t a sonic whip.

Mark, it’s a long TH.

Thanks everyone!

I'm very impressed. As an artist I'm mind blown. I think, now thought, of whips as functional items and figured that past individual methods (dental floss) and different designs in the leather or paracord that was it.

Once again wrong and happy to be.
