Aaaaand I couldn't help myself...
Waxed and made a twisted taper loaded fall, three lines of sufix leaded line, stitched shut. Loop for cracker. And a tapered sinew cracker.
I took the pic before I waxed the fall... It was getting late.

Tyler, loaded fall definitely.
You know what you're talkin bout

Yes sir I couldn't wait.... I'm not patient enough! Stiff at first but after all four of us had a turn it started gaining some fluidity. Lonnie said it was fairly accurate, and I could see it tracks straight enough that with a bit more cracking it will be on.

Thanks, Roger, you've been a huge inspiration too. The whip you made with the firecracker colors and black? Fantastic!!! And your knots....
I may have to go to the shop and tie a knot with my rasp.

Rachel, tying a knot with your rasp you will have to watch out for fraying. :)

You could make your own TH-1 by using the tube from a toilet paper or paper towel roll and pins. It's not as good or solid to work with but it would work in a pinch.

Ron :D fraying would definitely be an issue! I need to just hang in there and tie the Turks Head on, great idea on the cardboard tube as well, thank you!

Roger I'm glad you enjoy tying them, they are beautiful knots. I'm going to get it one day. I can't wait to see what you're making for the donation whip! I have a core started...

Thanks, Tyler! I am delivering an ox whip today so I will be in town and finally get to see some video, yeah!

I'm working on the second belly of the Charity Snake at the moment. Overlay colours yet to be decided but I must confess to leaning towards a Coral Snake design as I've never done one.
